Arrests
Tuesday, November 30, 2010 Police charge Mathew Taijeron, 27, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and with failure to stop at a stop sign.

Monday, November 29
6:15 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign at River Avenue and Shore Road.
8:55 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for a non-working headlight.
9:41 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign at River Avenue and Shore Road.
9:50 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign at River Avenue and Shore Road.
Thursday, December 2
12:43 pm Police investigate a report of criminal mischief that damaged a fence on Hudson Street.
4:55- 5:20 pm Police issue tickets to three drivers on River Avenue.
4:42 - 5:29 pm Police issue tickets to three drivers on Shore Road.
10:52 pm Police respond with COVAC to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W in which a vehicle hit a patch of ice and slid 150 feet down the roadway.
Friday, December 3
4:32 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for not wearing a seatbelt.
4:58 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver on River Avenue.
4:47 - 5:55 Police issue a ticket to three drivers on Shore Road..
Saturday, December 4
9:04 am Police take a report of a check stolen from a vehicle parked on Kelly Lane.
1:00 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for speeding on Route 9W.
3:00 pm Police respond to a report of a fight among juveniles on Homeland Avenue in which air guns were fired at subjects. The subjects are located, taken to the station and their parents are contacted. Three air soft rifles are placed into evidence.
Sunday, December 5
4:12 pm Police respond to a report of an injured dog in the ravine off Idlewild Park Dr. The SKFE #2 also responds and animal control officer Al Conley, who transports the animal to Flannery’s Animal Hospital. A woman who had been out in the elements during the dog rescue is taken by COVAC to the Cornwall hospital.
