General News: Cuffe Wins Northeast XC Championship

For the second year in a row, Cornwall’s Aisling Cuffe won the Northeast Regional Foot Locker Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Sunken Meadow Park in Kings Park, on Long Island. The Cornwall high school senior finished with a time of 17:51. Last year, she completed the course in 17:45 and went on to place fourth in the national race.
This year, Cuffe is seeded the number one girls cross country runner. She will compete in the Foot Locker Cross Country National Championships on December 11 in San Diego, California.
