General News: Two Employees Charged in CVS Theft
November 23, 2010
Two employees of the CVS drug store in Cornwall face charges of grand larceny and petit larceny after a corporate loss prevention investigation found evidence of stealing at the store. Cornwall police charged the pair last week.
Police chief Todd Hazard said that the investigators determined that Eryn Rotondo, 21, and Kathryn Fasano, 20, both of New Windsor, committed the larceny by pretending to ring up items that they appeared to sell to each other. Rotondo is charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, for stealing property valued at $1,198. Fasano, 20, of New Windsor, is charged with a Class A misdemeanor for stealing assorted merchandise valued at $707.
