Arrests
Monday, November 8
Police charge an 18-year-old male from Newburgh with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and with an equipment failure.
Thursday, November 11
Police charge Tina Palermo, 41, of Newburgh, on an outstanding bench warrant.
Police charge Manuel Vaughn, 24, of Islandia, with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and with no insurance and with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.
Police charge Shawn Darden, 43, of Newburgh, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and with failure to stop at a stop sign.
Saturday, November 13
Police charge James Lyle, 45, of Cornwall, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.
Sunday, November 14
Police charge Fernando Paulino, 20, of New City, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.

9:01 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for driving without a license and impound his car.
9:08 am Police issue a ticket to a driving for speeding on Angola Road.
11:53 am Police assist village unit at Cornwall Plaza and strongly advise a subject who was urinating in the bushes.
4:15 pm Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident that occurred in the intersection of Clarkwood Drive and Angola Road.
5:10 pm Police issue a ticket for unsafe passing to a driver on Clarkwood Drive.
7:18 pm Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road.
Tuesday, November 9
7:06 am Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W south at Continental Road.
Police issue six traffic tickets throughout the day.
Wednesday, November 10
1:41 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for operation a motor vehicle without a license and impound the driver’s car.
3:33 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for having a passenger without a seatbelt.
9:16 pm Police investigate a report of harassing text messages.
11:02 pm Police respond to a report of two subjects on Benedict Lane making a lot of noise and find a highly intoxicated 17-year-old male who is transported to the emergency room by COVAC.
Thursday, November 11
1:54 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32 in which one car rear-ended another.
2:47 pm Police issue three tickets to a driver on Route 32.
Friday, November 12
8:27 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident.
12:35 pm Police respond to a report of a female subject threatening to kill herself and COVAC transports her to Arden Hill Hospital.
2:14 pm Police respond to a domestic father-son distpute.
3:40 pm Police issue a ticket for a driving without a valid license and for driving an unregistered vehicle and impound the vehicle.
6:03 pm Police advise a large group of juveniles to leave the area behind the Willow Avenue school.
8:00 pm Police issue a ticket to the owner of a barking dog.
11:11 pm Police take a report of a 16-year-old runaway from a group home.
Saturday, November 13
7:15 am Police respond to a bear vs. motor vehicle accident on Orrs Mills Road in which the bear was injured but walked away.
1:00 pm Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident with property damage on Angola Road.
12:23 pm Police respond to a report of a disabled vehicle and find that the plates on the vehicle had been switched. Driver is issued two tickets and the vehicle is impounded.
10:23 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for speeding on Quaker Avenue.
Sunday, November 14
9:20 am Police issue a driver a ticket for speeding on Angola Road.
1:11 pm Police issue a ticket to a motorcyclist who only had a permit.
2:10 pm Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road.
3:20 pm Police respond to a report of four boys and a girl fighting in the rear of Willow Avenue school and a second report that one subject was possibly trying to commit suicide. Police make a mental health arrest and COVAC responds to assist subject.
6:06 pm Police respond to a husband-wife domestic dispute.
