Arrests
Monday, October 4
Police charge 19-year-old Luis Veneziano, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with petty larceny and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing property from three vehicles pared at Bernicker Auto on August 16, 2010.
Wednesday, October 6
Police charge 22-year-old Richard Lapinski, of New Windsor, on an arrest warrant.
Police arrest a 17-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson on a misdemeanor charge of criminal contempt in the second degree for allegedly having communications with a person that has an order of protection against him.
Thursday, October 7
Police arrest 20-year-old Michelle Guilfoyle, of Newburgh, on a bench warrant.
Friday, October 8
Police arrest 27-year-old Jose Martinez, of Newburgh, on a bench warrant issued for failure to pay fine and failure to appear.
Police charge 20-year-old Ryan Frankee, of Beacon, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with speeding on Route 32.

4:52-5:42 am Police issue three traffic tickets in the area of Quaker Avenue and Route 32.
9:45 am Police issue a ticket for an unlicensed driver on Angola Road.
1:52 pm Police issue the driver of a tractor trailer tickets for an illegal U-turn, unsafe backing, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Willow Avenue.
7:34 pm Police assist village police with a dispute that stemmed from the arrest of a juvenile.
8:33 pm Police take a report of an identity theft case.
Tuesday, October 5
1:56 pm Police retrieve a driver’s license and credit card from a catch basin on Elm Street.
5:00 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Quaker Avenue.
5:02 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Mt. Airy Road.
Wednesday, October 6
8:08 am Police investigate a report of a dog possibly shot with a gun and determine it may have been injured in a fight with another animal.
1:47 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for failure to stop at the stop sign at Quaker Avenue and Mill Street and for driving without a license,
2:04 pm Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32 and dispatch the injured animal.

11:42 pm Police move along subjects in two cars parked on Whispering Hills Road.
Sunday, October 9
5:50 pm Police respond to a report of teens starting a fire on the edge of Storm King Golf Course. The subjects are gone on arrival and police extinguish smoldering remains of the fire.
8:07-11:22 pm Police issue traffic tickets to three drivers.
