To the Editor:
I would like to thank everyone who supported us for this year’s first annual River View Run for Parkinson’s Disease Research which took place along Route 218 on September 25, 2010. The race committee and I would like to give special thanks to all sponsors and volunteers. In addition we would like to thank the following contributors:

The event raised over $13,000 which will go to Team Fox for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Eighty-five percent of money raised for the Michael J. Fox Foundation goes directly to research. Parkinson’s disease affects over five million people worldwide and currently there is no cure.
