General News: Bandstand Committee Likely to Continue

The village bandstand committee may still have life, according to Cornwall-on-Hudson Mayor Joseph Gross who read a letter a Monday’s board meeting from the committee’s chair, Colette Fulton, who said the group was disbanding.
Gross said he had spoken with several members who said they would like to continue the committee’s work, which had included programming a popular series of Tuesday evening concerts at the bandstand during the summer months.
The village board of trustees passed a resolution commending Fulton for her 25 years of effort to build and maintain the bandstand. (See Fulton’s letter acknowledging all the people who helped.)
