Arrests
Monday, September 6
Police charge 19-year-old Daniel Petrilak of Harriman and 21-year-old Richard Ramos of Monroe with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Police charge 19-year-old James A. Pacheco of Monroe with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and with an equipment violation on his vehicle.
Tuesday, September 7
Police arrest 23-year-old Octavius Kimbrough of New Windsor on a bench warrant.
Police charge 43-year-old Tomas Guzman of New Windsor with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with driving without a seatbelt.
Police arrest 44-year-old Kenneth Graham of New Windsor on a warrant.
Police charge 24-year-old Jayson Greenblatt of the Bronx with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding on Route 94.
Police charge 35-year-old Eamon Murray of Highland Mills with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding on Angola Road.
Wednesday, September 8
Police charge an unidentified 30-year-old male from Newburgh with criminal contempt in the second degree.
Police arrest 22-year-old Randahl Schmidt of Cornwall on a bench warrant.
Friday, September 10
Police charge 19-year-old Angel Bernabe of Monroe with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a license and with an equipment violation on his vehicle.
Police charge 21-year-old Stephen Olympia of Newburgh with driving while intoxicated, failure to signal and improper lane change.
Police charge 30-year-old Andrew Uebel of New Windsor with violating his parole.
Saturday, September 11
Police charge 38-year-old Lynda Griffing of New Windsor with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Police charge 66-year-old Raymond Leach of Newburgh with coercion in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree, taken by extortion. The arrest came after Leach allegedly contacted a local business and advised that he had confidential paperwork belonging to clients of the business that had not been properly taken care of by the business. The defendant offered to return the documents for $10,000. A meeting was set up and a Cornwall police officer posed as the financial officer of the business. After issuing the defendant a check, the officer arrested him.
Sunday, September 12
Police charge 44-year-old Candido Hernandez of Cornwall with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle without a license and unsafe lane change.
Police charge 26-year-old Edwin Castillo of Newburgh with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a license and have an inadequate muffler.

5:05 pm Police take a report of a cell phone taken from the shoe of a male while he was playing basketball at town hall.

12:29 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident involving spilled pesticides at Orrs Mills Road and Route 32.
6:38 pm Police respond to a minor fender bender in front of Dunkin Donuts.
Thursday, September 9
7:20 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue and the ramp to Route 9W.
11:10 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at Quaker Avenue and Mill Street.
2:11 pm Police advise a group of juveniles with skateboards on Quaker Avenue to move along.
2:24 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver going 72 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road.
3:09 pm Police detain a juvenile who allegedly stole a bottle of alcoholic beverage and was drinking it with friends on Hudson Street.
4:18 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 69 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 32.
7:55 pm Police respond to a rollover motor vehicle accident on Route 9W and Peck’s Road.
11:27 pm Police pick up a loose dog on Main Street.

7:11 pm Police investigate a report of the letters WK scratched in the hood of a vehicle parked overnight on Broadway.
9:25 pm Police respond to a motorcycle accident on Willow Avenue and Route 9W.
10:10 pm Police investigate a report of two females who ran away from the McQuade Home.
Sunday, September 12
5:20 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute.
8:27 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at Cornwall Plaza in which a driver struck a light pole.
