General News: Stormy Weather Players Auditions

Stormy Weather Players, in Cornwall, NY, is getting ready for their 10th annual New Plays Festival and invites anyone interested in a having a role to join in.
People who have already been chosen as directors, as well as anyone who would like to try their hand at directing a short play, is invited to attend a Directors’ Meeting on September 1st and 2nd. For anyone who would like to perform in a short play, auditions will be on September 8th and 9th.
If you have a conflict with some of those dates; please call to make alternative arrangements.
The Directors meeting and the auditions will be held at COVAC, on Clinton Street in Cornwall, at 7:30 pm.
A final decision of casting will be made by September 18th and people will be notified shortly afterwards. The performance of the New Plays Festival will be on October 15th and 16th at Munger Cottage in Cornwall.
The current plan is to present the plays as "staged readings." If a large enough audience turns out, more traditional performances of the plays could return.
