Arrests
Friday, August 13
Police arrest Eric Noll, age 36, of New Windsor for DWI after responding to a report that he had struck two parked vehicles at the Castaways bar on Shore Road.
Friday, August 13
Police charge an unidentified 43-year-old female with assault in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child after police are informed by a day care facility of a three-year-old child with numerous bruises on his back and hip area that were caused by being struck with a belt. An order of protection was issued for the child.
Sunday, August 15
Police charge 22-year-old Jacqueline Street of Newburgh with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with use of a mobile phone while driving.

10:25 am Police return to his parents an 11-year-old boy who ran away from home then came to the police station.
8:42 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue.
Tuesday, August 10
9:19 pm Police investigate a report from a 16-year-old male who says he was assaulted by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.
11:38 pm Police assist village police with apprehending a a male suspect who allegedly tried to gain entry to a residence on Prospect Street and then took off on foot, naked, down Spruce Street. Subject was under the influence of drugs and highly combative and is transported to the ER.

1:38 pm Police investigate a theft of tools from a house under construction on Maple Hill Drive.
3:57 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident involving a parked car on Armand’s Way.
4:13 pm Police take a report of harassing calls from an ex-employee.
4:25 pm Police respond to a report of a man having a mental break down and convince him to go to the hospital for observation.
4:44 pm Police take a report of an identify theft involving misuse of a credit card.
4:55 pm Police take a report of a woman receiving harassing phone calls.
5:07 pm Police investigate a report of several missing bicycles at an apartment house on Clinton Street.
7:00 Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
Thursday, August 12
1:05 pm Police take custody of a new bicycle that had been left unattended at the public library for an extended period.
1:48 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Meadowbrook Lane in which a driver backed into a telephone pole.
5:58 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute between two brothers.
6:10 pm Police investigate a report of a burglary in a private residence in which items were moved in a basement but nothing was removed.
11:16 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at the low point of Route 218.

10:28 am Police take a report of a side mirror knocked off a vehicle parked on Clinton Street.
12:28 pm Police take a report of a car that was egged during the night and a GPS taken from it while it was parked on Turkey Hill Drive.
4:36 pm Police take a report of a bus that knocked off the mirror of a vehicle parked on Main Street.
5:50 pm Police take a report of a verbal threat made to a person over the phone.
10:59 pm Police dispatch a deer that had been injured by a passing vehicle on Route 94.
11:06 pm Police issue a ticket to a driving for going 47 mph in a 30 mph zone on Quaker Avenue.
Saturday, July 14
3:40 pm Police respond to a boyfriend-girlfriend domestic dispute.
4:42 pm Police respond to a report of juveniles throwing rocks off the Taylor Road overpass onto I-87 and advise subjects.
9:01 pm Police respond to a report of three subjects, possibly intoxicated, at Prima Pizza and transport one 17-year-old female, who had apparently passed out in the lavatory, to the hospital. Her mother is contacted.
Sunday, July 15
12:05 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 62 mph in a 45 mph zone of Route 9W.
5:06 pm Police respond to a deer vs motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.
