Arrests


Monday, July 19
Police charge 22-year-old Tina Macri, of Otisville, with grand larceny in the fourth degree after an investigation involving the theft of a gold necklace from a residence that the defendant visited.

Tuesday, July 20
Police arrest a male for trespassing at his ex-girlfriend’s house.

Wednesday, July 21
Police arrest an unidentified 18-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudon as a fugitive from justice.

Police charge 72-year-old Vincent Morrone, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with DWI, a misdemeanor, after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Friday, July 23
Police arrest 21-year-old Richard Ramos, of Monroe, on an outstanding arrest warrant and also charge him with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and an equipment violation.

Sunday, July 25
Police charge 24-year-old Andrew Mugnano, of Scranton, PA., for driving with a license that was suspended in NY State.

Monday, July 19
11:41 am Police respond to a deer vs. car motor vehicle accident with injuries on Pleasant Hill Road.

12:27 pm Police investigate a report of a vehicle that had been keyed during the night while parked at 250 Main Street.

6:34 pm Police respond to a report of wires and a tree down on Route 32 and Cornwall Fire Dept. also responds and closes the road pending Central Hudson repairs.


Tuesday, July 20
8:12 pm Police respond to a fight brewing among adults and calm parties down.


Wednesday, July 21
9:47 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Quaker Avenue.

5:20 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Angola Road.


Thursday, July 22
8:26 am Police assist village police with a report of an emotionally disturbed subject.

2:38 pm Police respond to a complaint of ATVs on Jackson Avenue, pursue same with lights on, but vehicles flee the scene into the woods.

3:56 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage in the parking lot of CVS.

6:10 pm Police respond to a rollover motor vehicle accident on Orrs Mills Road and cut off northbound traffic until the accident is cleared.

8:03 pm Police move along a group of disorderly adults on Mine Hill Road.


Friday, July 23
3:03 am Police assist woman with locating her daughter who she hadn’t heard from since 10:30, when she was in the company of her boyfriend.

2:06 pm Police respond to a report of gutters falling off a building on Main Street.

2:18 pm Police respond to a report of a deer that had been injured after being struck by a vehicle on Quaker Avenue and dispatch the animal.


Saturday, July 24
6:36 pm Police investigate a report of two mailboxes damaged by a vehicle on Kirsten Leah Lane.

7:58 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving two motorcycles and a car at the High Point of Route 218.

10:34 pm Police move along a group of juveniles on the golf course on Hasbroucke Road.

11:56 pm Police dispatch an injured deer on Route 94.


Sunday, July 25
5:07 am Police are on the lookout for, then stop a vehicle with three females, one of them bleeding on her face with multiple lacerations, a result of an assault with a hammer. They stated they were enroute to the hospital and are transported there via COVAC.

10:25 am Police take a report of a subject being harassed.
