To the Editor:
I participated in my last school board meeting as a member of the Cornwall board of education Monday night. It was bittersweet.
As I reflected on the many people I’ve met and projects I took on over the past nine years, I found it impossible to comprehend: So many wonderful children, parents, educators and fellow board members; so many packets to read, meetings to attend, programs to develop and budgets to pass.
I thank the community for electing me three times to the BOE. Serving on the Cornwall Board of Education was sometimes difficult, and always an honor.
