Arrests
Tuesday, June 15
Police charge 22-year-old Randall Schmidt, of Cornwall, with reckless driving after observing him make a U-turn on Route 32, then speed up and operate the motorcycle with the front wheel not in contact with the pavement for approximately seven seconds.
Police charge an unidentified 17-year-old male from New Windsor with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration and with an equipment violation.
Wednesday, June 16
Police charge 56-year-old Edward Hegeman, of Cornwall, with violating the local open container law after he said the bottle he was drinking from contained Gatorade and vodka.
Thursday, June 17
Police arrest 27-year-od Jose Martinez, of Newburgh, on a bench warrant.
Sunday, June 20
Police arrest 29-year-old Cesar Oliva, of Peekskill, on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI and escaping police custody (see story).
Police arrest a 27-year-old unidentified male from New Windsor for assault in the third degree after a domestic dispute.
