To the Editor:
We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the Storm King Fire Engine Company's speedy response, professional conduct, and aide in our time of emergency. Within minutes, Chief Jeff Armitage was here assessing the situation, followed shortly by Engine 411 and 5 firefighters. The Tower Ladder 413 followed suit, with another 3 firefighters and Engine 412 with 2 more.
Thanks to the help of all the members, we were able to reopen the restaurant on the following Tuesday, with minimal loss of property. It’s comforting to know that volunteers of this community are here to help others, to help keep them safe, and to protect them from loss of property and life.
