General News: Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Cornwall

Is today your lucky day? A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket for $250,000 was sold at Cornwall Wines and Spirits recently and owner Kenn Brodmerkel says that so far no one has step forward to claim it since the number was pulled Tuesday night.
Brodmerkel says the winning ticket had five matching numbers and, while it isn’t nearly as valuable as the ticket that won the $64 million jackpot on Tuesday, it is the largest winnings from a ticket sold in his store since he started selling lottery tickets 20 years ago.
“I don’t know who won, could be a regular or it could be someone who just came through the first time,” Brodmerkel commented. “Chances are that the person who won it doesn’t even know yet.”
