To the Editor:
I would like to acknowledge and thank County Legislator Kevin Hines (Legislative District #12) for working on behalf of his constituents.
For the past few months, Mr. Hines has demonstrated his knowledge of the issues affecting the Village of South Blooming Grove and Town of Blooming Grove as he is working with our local elected officials to address the issues and listening to his constituents.
On crucial votes in the county legislature, he has voted in the best interest of his district (e.g., against the amended FEIS).
I have reached out to Mr. Hines with my concerns and questions on various county issues and he has responded very quickly either via email or phone.
I hope Mr. Hines continues putting the interests of his constituents’ first, showing leadership and independence. His colleagues should follow his example.
