General News: Mount Invites Artists to Exhibit

Mount Saint Mary College invites artists to participate in the 35th Annual Artists on the Campus Outdoor Art Show and Sale June 6.
The show will feature original paintings, prints, drawings, photography and sculpture. No crafts will be displayed. Artists may enter their work in the judged and/or open categories.
In the judged category all media are eligible for the Sister Francis Joseph Egan Best in Show Award. Other awards are the Bethlehem Art Gallery Award (paint media) and the Gayle Clark Fedigan Painting Award (all media).
Ribbons will be presented for first place, second place and honorable mention in the following media: oils/acrylics, black and white photography, color photography, drawings and prints (original), mixed media, water media, pastels, sculpture and Hudson Valley Scenes (all media). Rocco Fuschetto of Haight Fire Equipment will once again be donating the ribbons.
Artists may register by downloading a registration form from the website www.artistsoncampus.org or by calling 845-569-3337.
There is a non-refundable $20 fee for either the judged category or the open category, or $30 for both. To be included in the program, exhibitors must register by May 28. Entries will be accepted after that date, including the day of the show, if space is available.
The rain date for the event is June 13.
