Monday, May 3
Police charge three teens with grand larceny and other charges following the theft of $9,000 in cash and a $500 watch from a Cornwall residence. (See full story)
Tuesday, May 4
Police exercise an arrest warrant against an unidentified 16-year-old female from Newburgh for aggravated harassment in the second degree.
Thursday, May 6
Police charge Rafael A. Suarez, 24, of Hazelton, Pa., with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Friday, May 7
Police charge 44-year-old Regina Lewis, of Newburgh, with aggravated harassment in the second degree.
Police charge 27-yaer-old Donta Patterson, of Newburgh, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Saturday, May 8
Police charge 24-year-old Douglas Wilson, of Newburgh, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with following a vehicle too closely.
Police charge 23-year-old Paul Hogaboom, of Chester, with unlawful possession of marijuana in the town park picnic area.
Police charge Jacklyn Mitchell, 24, of Newburgh, with violation of the open contain law and consumption of alcohol beverage in the town park picnic area.
Sunday, May 9
Police charge an unidentified 18-year-old male from Cornwall with speeding, reckless driving and driving with an expired inspection certificate on Route 9W.

3:40 pm Police respond to a 3-car motor vehicle accident on Route 94.

7:12 pm Police respond to a report of a pit bull that attacked another dog that was being walked on Main Street.

1:33 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
9:14 am Police take a report of a truck and a car that had been keyed overnight while parked at 196 Main Street.

12:39 pm Police investigate a report that a lacrosse net at Cornwall middle school had been slashed.
9:17 pm Police remove a disorderly juvenile who was arguing with the manager of Dunkin Donuts.
Friday, May 7
2:59 pm Police investigate a report of an Ipod Touch stolen from a Cornwall middle school student during gym.
7:54-8:35 pm Police issue tickets to four drivers on Route 9W and Laurel Avenue for traffic violations.

1:07 am Police respond to a noise complaint on Hickory Avenue and advise residents to keep the noise down.
2:35 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
4:21 pm Police investigate a report of bricks thrown in a yard on Russell Street by unknown juveniles.
4:31 pm Police respond to a hit-and-run accident on Main Street in which a white box truck struck a parked vehicle.
4:33 pm Police stop three juveniles on the train tracks on Route 94 in Salisbury Mills with what appears to be MTA property in their backpacks and notify the MTA police.
11:13 pm Police assist Cornwall and Woodbury fire departments in locating a hiker on Schunnemunk Mountain who says he is lost and his boots had fallen apart after walking through swampy terrain.
11:32 pm Police shut down a section of Route 32 after a transformer blew, causing a fire. Central Hudson on scene for repairs.
Sunday, March 9
1:57 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a driver struck a bear on Route 32 at Angola Road.
10:04 am Police respond to a report of a missing 14-year-old male who had threatened to run away after he was punished at home due to his school suspension. Subject is later located in Washington Heights, upper Manhattan.
8:35 pm Police investigate a report of harassing phone calls.
