The 7th/8th grade boys White Squad played in Washingtonville on Sunday afternoon and came away with a 7-3 victory - their first of the season.
It was a very balanced scoring effort for Cornwall. Goals were scored by all three lines of midfielders and attackmen. The defense, led by goalie Zach Penaluna, played a very impressive game especially given the temps that climbed into the 90's.
The Cornwall 3rd/4th grade lacrosse team started their season with a victory over Washingtonville.
Cameron Growney started the scoring along with Matt Clohessy, Alex Burns and Ryan Hines. With Ricky McMahon in the goal and great play by Eddie Rodd, James McDonnell, Tyler McElrath and the rest of the team the dragons only gave up one goal for a 6-1 win.
