Monday, April 19
7:36 pm Police respond to a complaint of water leaking from one apartment to another on Manor Drive with no response from the occupant of the apartment with the leak. Police attempt to access the apartment with a later and the resident finally responds.

8:31 pm Police dispatch an injured deer on the side of Route 9W.


Tuesday, April 20
2:31 am Police remove a dead deer from the roadway on Route 9W.

6:53 am Police dispatch an injured deer on Ryan Court.

9:59 am Police investigate a report of a man who has been harassing another male as he drives by for the past two weeks.

11:22 am Police respond to a report of a sick and disoriented possum stuck in a garbage can, remove the animal and dispatch it.

12:15 am Police investigate a report of eggs thrown at a residence on Old Mill Street.


Wednesday, April 21
7:07 am Police respond to a boyfriend-girlfriend domestic dispute.

5:40 pm Police respond to a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident without injuries on Route 32.


Thursday, April 22
8:21 am Police investigate a report of a woman who was harassed by three teenagers who drove by her when she was running on Otterkill Road.

2:38 pm Police charge a 16-year-old female with harassment, a violation, after she was involved in an altercation at the high school where she struck another female student. The defendant was released to re-appear on May 13, 2010 and an order of protection was issued.

5:10 pm Police take a report from a woman who said that her boss kissed her without provocation or warning.

6:48 pm Police assist village police with a suspicious vehicle/persons on Mountain Road.

11:16 pm Police respond to a noise complaint and advise a band practicing on Mill Street of the noise ordinance.

Friday, April 23
12:38 am Police respond to a domestic dispute and call Covac to take a patient to the Cornwall ER.

7:16 am Police report a hit-and-run that damaged a side mirror of a patrol car.

11:44 am Police charge 23-year-old Emmano Jean-Julian, of Highland Mills, with reckless driving after observing him driving 109 mph on a motorcycle on Route 32.

3:44 pm Police advise a group of juveniles who were hanging out at the town playground, hanging off equipment and swearing around young kids.

4:44 pm Police charge 30-year-old Isidro Saldivar, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driver, an equipment failure and failure to signal after stopping his vehicle on Route 9W.

7:20 pm Police charge a 17-year-old Cornwall-on-Hudson male with second-degree harassment after he repeatedly punched a 14-year-old.

Saturday, April 24
1:33 am Police observe an unregistered dirt bike traveling at a high rate of speed on Willow Avenue and attempt to stop it but the operator keeps going until he loses control and crashes on Main Street. Police then charge the operator, 31-year-old Charles Moorehead, of Cornwall, with DWI, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving a vehicle with an expired inspection.

9:48 am Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 32 for failing to wear a seat belt.

10:53 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for speeding, 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.

11:40 am Police respond to a husband-wife domestic dispute.

1:02 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

7:30 pm Police arrest 34-year-old Kimberly Haymer, of Newburgh, on an outstanding warrant.

8:03 pm Police issue a ticket to an ATV operator for driving on a roadway.

10:09 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute at the train station.

11:30 pm Police respond to a report of a woman who was afraid to get out of her car after seeing a black bear in her driveway on Angola. Bear is gone on arrival.


Sunday, April 25
12:33 am Police respond to a report of juveniles ringing a door bell of a house on Orr Hatch Drive, then running away.

8:19 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with personal injury on Route 32.

1:02 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute.

3:15 pm Police respond to a complaint of a neighbor who had been noisy the previous night and advise him.

6:40 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute.

8:30 pm Police observe juveniles behind Willow Avenue school and detect the smell of a marijuana. An unidentified 16-year-old female from Cornwall handed over a pipe with marijuana in it and she is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and handed over to her mother.
