The Storm King Fire Engine Company #2 is gearing up for its annual golf outing with a special emphasis this year on raising funds to underwrite the Orange County Volunteer Firemen's Association Convention and Parade* in Cornwall-on-Hudson in September 2012 when Matt Clancy will be the President of the Association.
The fire company is looking for businesses to sponsor the golf outing to be held
on Friday ,May 21, 2010 at the Stony Ford Golf Course at Orange County Park. Businesses can sponsor a hole for $100 or donate door prizes and raffles.
The fire company is also looking for people who want to play in the outing that begins with a continental breakfast at 8 am, followed by tee off golf at 9 am. Lunch is provided at the turn and the day culminates with a BBQ dinner, Awards, Prizes, and Raffles. Closest to The Hole can win a Vehicle from Kingston Nissan!
The cost to register is $125.
Sponsors and players can visit the newly re-designed website, www.stormkingfire.org to download registration forms and to get additional information about the golf outing.
* The Orange County Volunteer Firemen’s Association was organized in 1915 through the efforts of Chief Frank C. Hock of Goshen, Chief Charles Higham of Middletown, Chief H.B. Green of Chester and Chief W.J. Lorch of Cornwall-on-the-Hudson.
