General News: Local Golf Benefits Set

It’s spring and that means it is time to hit the links in annual golf outings to benefit local organizations.
Register by this Wednesday to take part in the Cornwall United Soccer Golf Tournament to be held at the town of Wallkill Golf Club on Tuesday, May 3rd. Registration is $135 and proceeds will benefit the Cornwall United Soccer scholarship fund that is awarded annually two graduating CCHS seniors and will also be applied towards maintenance of fields and off-setting registration costs for soccer families in need.

In two weeks, the Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce will hold its outing to benefit the Frank Ronsini Merit Award and community projects. The event on Friday, May 7, will take place at the Storm King Golf Course in Cornwall and it only costs $95 per golfer to participate in a full day of fun Visit www.cornwallchamber.org for more information.
