Monday, April 5
Police investigate a report of a Stihl chainsaw stolen from the water department garage on Maple Avenue between March 22 and April 5, 2010.

10:19 am Police investigate a report of a chain link fence on Pine Street that had been damaged when hit by a vehicle on Saturday night.

9:43 am Police issue a ticket to a driver on Bayview Avenue for speeding.

2:06 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver on Shore Road for an expired inspection sticker.

3:07 pm Police advise three juveniles observed skateboarding on the gazebo in the village square.


Tuesday, April 6
6:12 am Police respond to a complaint of a barking dog on Cornwall Avenue and advise owner.


Wednesday, April 7
Police issue traffic tickets on Route 218 for speeding and for an expired inspection sticker.

6:46 am Police respond to a report of a deer whose leg was stuck on a fence on Braden Place, free the animal and, due to its bad condition, dispatch it.

7:32-7:47 pm Police issue tickets to three vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.


Thursday, April 8

Police issue a ticket to a driver on Hudson Street for going 50 mph in a 30 mph zone.

9:00 am Police investigate a report of a mini pocket rocket motorcycle missing from a residence on Lafayette Street.

7:34 pm Police issue tickets to two vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.

8:30 pm Police return a debit card to a village resident that had been found on Hudson Street in front of Village Pizza.


Friday, April 9
Police issue tickets to two vehicles parked overnight on Weeks Avenue.

8:16 am Police investigate a report of a XM radio and a case of music Cds taken overnight from an unlocked vehicle parked on Paula Court.

8:18 pm Police respond to a very minor motor vehicle accident on Hudson Street.


Saturday, April 10
5:05 pm Police assist town police with a reported suicidal subject. Situation under control.

10:16 pm Police investigate a report of graffiti on a bathroom door at Village Pizza.


Sunday, April 11
Police assist town police with an arrest of a driver for DWI.

9:29 am Police respond to a fire in a state park police vehicle at the top of Storm King Mountain.

8:10 pm Police issue a ticket to a vehicle parked without a permit at the riverfront.
