General News: Library Budget Approved

Voters approved the new $981,300 operating budget for the Cornwall Public Library on Tuesday, passing it by a vote of 364 to 117. A total of 502 votes were counted, a slight decrease from 2009.
Susanne Vondrak was elected as library trustee in a three-person race for the open seat. Vondrak received 236 votes and her challengers, Gail Gold Berger and Cheryl Buescher, received 162 and 104 respectively.
