Monday, March 15
11:30 am Police take a report from a student who said she was harassed at the high school by a classmate and also charge a 16-year-old female with assault in the third degree for an incident that occurred previously at the high school.
3:07 pm Police respond to a report of a 15-year-old student at the high school who was found to be possessing marijuana. Referral made to family court.
4:30 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.
Tuesday, March 16
6:41 am Police investigate a report of a GPS stolen from a vehicle parked on Tamara Lane, The vehicle owner reports that she heard the car horn go off at 1:39 am, looked, but didn’t see anyone. The vehicle was unlocked.
12:14 pm Police ticket a driver on Bethlehem Road for driving 58 mph in a 30 mph zone.
1:44 pm Police charge 32-year-old Amy Shultis, of Middletown, with harassment in the second degree.
2:45 pm Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the high school.
3:35 pm Police investigate a report of a woman receiving harassing phone calls at work from an ex-boyfriend.
6:34 pm Police investigate a report of the larceny of two Honda motorcycles from a residence on Old West Point Road.
7:04 pm Police respond to a hit-and-run accident involving a parked car on Main Street.
8:45 pm Police investigate a report of a harassing threat made to a passenger as he disembarked the train in Salisbury Mills.
Wednesday, March 17
7:16 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 48 mph in a 30 mph zone on Main Street.
8:27 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign on Orrs Mills Road and Route 32.
9:38 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.
10:55 am Police investigate a report of a cell phone and other personal items taken from a car parked at the Chase Bank while its driver was inside the building.
2:44 pm Police charge 30-year-old Benjamin Madden, of Rock Tavern, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with an equipment violation after stopping his vehicle on Route 32.
3:56 pm Police report that one its vehicle was slightly damaged by another car that struck it at the corner of Laurel Avenue and Oak Street.
5:28 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for an expired inspection sticker.
Thursday, March 18
5:32 am Police respond to a deer vs motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Hill Road.
7:46 am Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver with an expired inspection sticker on Route 94.
3:45 pm Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident on Shore Road.
10:12 pm Police respond to a report of a fight in progress in the area of Hickory and Alder and parties are advised.
11:20 pm Police assist with an emotionally disturbed patient at Cornwall hospital.
Friday, March 19
1:26 am Police take a report of the larceny of $170 from a purse that a woman left in her friend’s car.
8:01 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 63 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road.
8:13 am Police issue two tickets to drivers with no valid inspection stickers.
12:01 pm Police respond to a one car rollover accident on Angola Road with the driver entrapped. COVAC transport patient to Cornwall hospital.
3:09 pm Police respond to a boyfriend-girlfriend domestic dispute.
9:50 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32. No injuries.
Saturday, March 20
1:52 am Police respond to a domestic dispute.
7:17 am Police impound a vehicle and charge the driver with driving without a license after he attempted to make a u-turn to avoid a police safety check on Route 32.
4:50 pm Police charge 44-year-old Patrick Kelly with trespassing at Cornwall Plaza.
6:05 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle at the low point on Route 218.
8:27 pm Police charge 24-year-old Adeerly Zamudio-Lean with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a license and failure to use a signal after he was stopped while driving on Route 32.
11:25 pm Police charge 29-year-old George Calderon, of Spring Valley, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with having a broken headlight after stopping him on Route 9W.
Sunday, March 21
1:03 am Police respond to a domestic dispute at the Shamrock Tavern.
3:24 am Police charge 33-year-old Kimberlyann Smith, of Cornwall, with driving while intoxicated and with unsafe lane change on Mailler Avenue.
10:06 am Police investigate a report of a GPS stolen from the glove box of a car parked overnight on Algernon Street.
5:40 pm Police arrest 28-year-old Rebecca George, of Central Valley, after a traffic stop revealed three outstanding warrants for her
