Monday, September 17
8:22 a.m. Police respond to the Cornwall high school to recover a found bag of marijuana.
9:34 a.m. Police investigate a report of graffiti sprayed on the roof of the Cornwall middle school in red paint. The graffiti included the date “9/15/07” and “Kill Cops.”
4:11 p.m. Police charge Josephine Hill, 59, of Newburgh with attempted petty larceny after she was observed attempting to gain entry into vehicles in the hospital parking lot.
6:55 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle parked at the train station.
7:40 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of a woman aggressively panhandling and harassing customers at the Citgo station on Route 9W and advise her to leave the premises.
11:00 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 29-year-old female from New Windsor.
Tuesday, September 18
7:08 a.m. Police observe that someone had damaged the street sign at the intersection of Smith Road and Brewster.
10:59 a.m. Police respond to a domestic incident between a mother and her son regarding use of a Gameboy.
11:06 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 94 to a 40-year-old male from Highland.
11:09 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
2:48 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident and dispatch the injured deer.
4:29 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving 64 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 50-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
4:45 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 35-year-old female from New Windsor.
5:17 p.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident at Route 9W and Angola Road.
6:38 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 38-year-old male from Newburgh.
7:02 p.m. Police arrest Michael Kusmann, 19, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, for possession of marijuana after a report came in that some juveniles were smoking marijuana in a car parked on Sylcox Road.
Wednesday, September 19
4:49 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.
10:03 a.m. Police investigate a report of a tire and wheel that was taken off a Ford Explorer parked on Main Street overnight. The vehicle was still jacked up when the police arrive.
10:39 a.m. Police take a report from a man who said his wallet fell out of his pocket at the Citgo Station on Route 9W.
11:45 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 21-year-old male from Harriman.
12:11 a.m. Police investigate a hit-and-run accident on Rose Hill Park.
5:15 p.m. Police respond to assist a mental health patient at St. Lukes Cornwall hospital.
5:31 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of loud music at the Little League field and advise the baseball team to keep the music down.
6:45 p.m. Police investigate a report of an object thrown at a moving car on Mill Street that shattered the driver’s window.
7:52 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs car motor vehicle accident on Angola Road and dispatch the injured deer.
Thursday, September 20
11:35 a.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 9W to a 25-year-old male from Highland Falls.
1:41 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 9W to a 18-year-old male from Newburgh.
2:19 p.m. Police charge Manal Mejalli, 28, of Yonkers, with driving with a suspended license.
9:51 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving with a child not secured in a child’s safety seat to a 33-year-old female from Newburgh.
10:00 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving 57 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road to a 28-year-old male from New Windsor.
Friday, September 21
6:31 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 63-year-old male from Mountainville.
1:58 p.m. Police issue two summonses on Route 32 to a 41-year-old female from Cornwall for driving without a license and with an expired inspection sticker.
2:10 p.m. Police issue a summons on Route 32 for an expired inspection sticker to a 53-year-old female from New Windsor.
6:51 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32 to a 23-year-old male from New Windsor.
