Police Blotter: September 13-15, 2007

Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department

Thursday, September 13
6:15 p.m.  Police charge Raymond Walters, 79, of Pearl River, with driving with a revoked license after he drove his Lincoln off the road north of the riverfront gazebo and strike a metal bar that broke his left front wheel.

6:39 p.m.  Police respond to a report of disorderly youths at Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary school and advise them to leave.

7:24 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 19-year-old female from New Windsor.

9:35 p.m.  Police issue a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign to a 45-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson.

9:59 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a possible domestic dispute and find two teens arguing.


Friday, September 14
6:53 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 21-year-old male from East Brunswick, New Jersey.


Saturday, September 15
2:06 a.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 43-year-old male from Marlboro.

3:13 a.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to an 18-year-old male from Newburgh.

10:48 a.m.  Police respond to a report of subjects urinating behind the Cumberland Farms building and remove them.

6:28 p.m.  Police respond to a report of an unleashed dog that ran out of a residence and into the street, startling the dog of a woman walking by who was then pulled to the ground by her dog’s leash.  The woman who fell had a large bump on her face and scratches on her shoulder.

9:05 p.m.  Police remove three juveniles and two others from the bandstand.

9:10 p.m.  Police observe garbage coming out of the passenger’s side window of a vehicle on Hudson Street and stop the car.  Police instruct 15-year-old passenger who threw the trash out to pick up the garbage.

9:35 p.m.  Police issue two summonses for vehicle and traffic violations to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.

11:09 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to 17-year-old male from Highland Mills.

11:17 p.m.  Police respond to the area of the gazebo for a report of loud juveniles.
