General News: Excursion to See Madama Butterfly

Opera enthusiasts are invited to sign up for Cornwall Public Library’s bus trip to New York City Opera at Lincoln Center, to enjoy a matinee performance of Giaciamo Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” on Saturday, April 10th. The trip has been made available with the generosity of The Friends of Cornwall Library.
Details of the excursion are as follows:
$60.00 Cost covers 2nd ring, front row seats and gratuity for bus driver; $30 deposit due with sign-up (deadline Monday, February 22nd); $30 balance due by Friday, March 5th.
Those participating are asked to meet at Cornwall Library at 10:15 a.m. on the morning of April 10th for a 10:30 a.m. (sharp) departure. Bring a bag lunch, or plan to buy at a NYC deli. The opera runs 2 hrs. 55 min. with two intermissions. After the performance enjoy dinner on your own, then meet back at the bus at Lincoln Center at 7:15 p.m. (sharp) for a 7:30 p.m. departure back to the Library.
