Monday, February 1
4:18 pm Police advise juveniles playing on ice at Ring’s Pond to stay off the ice.

6:19 pm Police take a report of a domestic dispute involving physical violence that occurred the previous night.

10:54-11:20 pm Police issue traffic tickets to three drivers on Quaker Avenue.

11:20 pm Police charge 21-year-old Joseph Tetro, of New Windsor, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Canterbury Avenue and with an equipment violation.


Tuesday, Feburary 2
3:25 a.m. Police charge with 45-year-old Ann Early, of Monroe, with a felony and a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance and with a criminal trespass misdemeanor and a criminal mischief felony after she is found to have broken into an office building on Otterkill Road. Early said she was stranded and needed to get warm. Police found two glass vials of a powdery substance that tested positive for crack cocaine.

9:45 am Police take a report of a mailbox at a residence on Crestview Drive that had been knocked over during the night.

12:15 pm Police respond to a minor fender bender in the parking lot of the post office.


Wednesday, February 3
12:42 pm Police charge a 17-year-old female student at Cornwall Central High School with criminal possession of a weapon after she is found with a steak knife.

3:51 pm Police look for the driver of a blue Honda Civic that struck the side mirror of a passing car on Taylor Road and continued without stopping


Thursday, February 4
12:04 am Police dispatch an injured deer on Mine Hill Road.

12:46 am Police respond to a tw-car motor vehicle accident near the flagpole on Route 9W.

8:25 am Police advise an unwanted subject to leave Munger Cottage.

8:36 am Police take a report of a minor motor vehicle accident on Route 94.

2:59 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Orrs Mills Road that occurred when a driver, who said his view was obscured by the sun, pulled out of Jackson Avenue and struck head-on an approaching vehicle.


Friday, February 5
7:01 am Police take a report of a person missing from a group home.

1:08 pm Police take a report of an Ipod stolen from a student at the middle school.

3:01 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Quaker Avenue.

4:08 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Quaker Avenue.

5:17 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Quaker Avenue.

6:45 pm Police take a report of damage on a vehicle parked on Sycamore Drive.

8:00 pm Police issue parking tickets to eleven vehicles parked in the fire lane of Willow Avenue Elementary School.

9:30 pm Police take a report of a window broken on a vehicle parked on Sycamore Drive that appeared to be a BB hole.

11:50 pm Police take a report of the window of a vehicle that had been broken while parked on Clove Road.


Saturday, February 6
3:46 pm Police take a report of a windshielf in a vehicle parked on Sycamore driver that had been shot and damaged.

4:47 pm Dog control officer takes a stray pit bull to the animal shelter.

6:20 pm Police take a report of a COVAC vehicle that damaged the fender of a vehicle parked at Cornwall Plaza.

8:39 pm Police issue a driver a ticket for driving 62 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road.

11:10 pm Police investigate a report of a broken window on a vehicle parked on Shore Drive.


Sunday, February 7
7:50 am Police issue a missing person’s alert for a group home resident.

7:48 am Police take a report of a vehicle shot at by a BB gun on Route 32.

2:29 pm Police take a report of fuel taken from a van parked at the Salisbury Mills train station.

3:04 pm Police investigate a fire on a backyard fence on Giovanna Street that appeared to have been caused by hot coals from a woodstove.

4:35 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Route 94 and Seamans Lane.

11:39 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a vehicle on Clove Road.
