Sunday, September 2
1:05 a.m. Police respond to a noise complaint and tell subjects on River Avenue to quiet down.
1:16 a.m. Police stop a suspicious vehicle on Shore Road and determine that the driver was picking up people who had been fishing and who were waiting for him in the weeds nearby.
2::08 p.m. Police hand out 100 letters about pedestrian safety in twenty-two minutes.
4:04-6 p.m. Police issue two summons to vehicles parked without a permit at the riverfront.
5:08 p.m. Police respond to a complaint from a boater about another boat docked at the small launch dock while that boater had a picnic in the park. Advised to move the boat from the dock which is a boat launch only.
Monday, September 3
8:09 a.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked without a permit at the riverfront.
8:21 p.m. Police move along a group of juveniles.
Tuesday, September 4
12:04 a.m. Police respond to a report that teenagers at the high point of Route 218 heard a female scream three times. A search of the area by village and town police had negative results.
4:19 p.m. Police remove a group of juveniles from Cornwall-on-Hudson elementary school.
5:49 p.m. Police take a report of CDs stolen from a vehicle on Storm King Avenue.
6:01 p.m. Police respond to a report of a deer in the road on Bayview Avenue.
8:01 p.m. Police respond to a report of a woman yelling outside a village residence and resolve the matter.
Wedneday, September 5
4:56 p.m Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 36-year-old man from Newburgh.
8:00 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 22-year-old male from Cornwall.
