8:08 am Police issue a summons to a driver on Route 9W for driing 66 mph in a 45 mph zone.
8:49 am Police issue a summons for an uninspected motor vehicle to a driver on Angola Road.
8:57 am Police issue a summons to a driver on Jackson Avenue for failure to wear a seat belt.
10:58 am Police issue a driver a summons for an obstructed view caused by numerous air fresheners hanging from the rear view mirror.
4:11 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver on Pleasant Hill Road with an expired inspection.
10:47 pm Police issue a ticket to a male driver on Route 32 for driving without a license.
11:14 pm Police issue a ticket to a male driver on Route 9W for driving without a license.
Tuesday, January 12
1:17 am Police arrest Miguel Sofier for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticket him for speeding and operating a vehicle out of class after stopping the taxi he was driving on Route 32. Occupants of the taxi were taken by a different taxi company.
7:34 am Police respond to a report of a man begging outside of Dunkin Donuts and advise him to move along.
6:25 pm Police investigate a reported girlfriend-boyfriend domestic dispute.
8:10 pm Police respond to a report of a man panhandling outside of Key Foods and speak with the subject.
11:08 pm Police issue two summonses to a driver on Route 94.
11:59 pm Police issue a summons to a driver on Angola Road.
Wednesday, January 13
1:07 pm Police respond to a report of a man who took ten Oxycodine pills then started driving on Route 9W and find the subject sitting in his vehicle where his wife had found him. Subject is transported to Cornwall hospital for treatment.
11:07 pm Police assist village police to locate a 17-year-old runaway. Subjects advised.
Thursday, January 14
7:09 am Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 9W near Continental Road.
7:28 am Police assist village police to locate a female high school student involved in an incident with her parents.
9:29 am Police issue a summons to a driver on Route 32.
9:48 am Police issue a summons to a driver for driving without a driver’s license and impound his vehicle.
3:53 pm Police issue a driver a summons for driving without a license on Route 32.
4:22 pm Police issue a driver a summons for driving without a license on Route 32 and impound the vehicle.
4:50 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Route 32 and Quaker Avenue.
7:00 pm Police respond to a report of a motor vehicle accident in which a car drove into the woods on Purdy’s Lane. No injuries. Police charge the driver, an 18-year-old male from Salisbury Mills, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
8:35 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute and charge a 37-year-old New Windsor man with harassment in the second degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.
Friday, January 15
6:27 am Police respond to a rollover motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Shore Road near Castaways.
8:47 am Police respond to a domestic dispute over custody issues.
1:57 pm Police remove a woman from the premises of a home after the homeowner said that the woman, a houseclearner, made unwelcomed advances towards her.
2:30 pm Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident with property damage on Route 218.
3:17 pm Police investigate a report of a camera taken from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight in a driveway on Wyndgate Drive.
Saturday, January 16
5:37 pm Police respond to a deer vs motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
5:43 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute.
Sunday, January 17
12:05 am Police respond to a report of disorderly juveniles, locate them and turn them over to their parents.
3:09 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
3:22 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W in which the orepator said she lost control of her vehicle and went off the road.
4:30 pm Police investigate a report of a possible burglary, determine that no entry was made and that screen had been possibly damaged by an animal.
