General News: Trustee Gosda Launches Re-Election Bid

Cornwall-on-Hudson trustee Barbara Gosda has decided to run for a second term in office. She joins fellow trustee Rick Gioia in bids for re-election to the office that they first entered two years ago.
Trustee Gosda says that she picked up a petition to run last Friday and planned to spend the holiday weekend gathering signatures. Candidates must gather at least 75 signatures on a petition before their names can appear on the ballot in the March 16, 2010 election.
In addition to the two incumbents, a third candidate, Jim Kane, has also announced his intention to run for a trustee seat. Two seats will be filled in the election.
