General News: Village to Move for Dismissal of Lawsuit
January 14, 2010
A federal judge has given the green light to the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson to file a motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought against it by local businessman Anthony Missere.
Missere filed the suit last September charging that he has been denied due process in his efforts to expand his restaurant, the River Bank, by selectively enforcing the zoning code. He is seeking a $1 million in damages.
The village is trying to get the suit dismissed and on Wednesday an attorney for the village and the attorney for Missere appeared before U.S. District Judge Kenneth Karas to discuss the case.
Attorney Michael O’Connor, who represents Missere, said that both parties have until March 12th to file a motion and a response.

So the same guy who bragged about fleecing the IRS is now mad because he *thinks* someone else twisted a law? You can't have it both ways...
