General News: Rings Pond Open for Skating

It’s time to get out your skates and go down to Ring’s Pond in Cornwall’s town park, where the town recreation department has given the green light to skating.
A spokesperson for the recreation department said on Monday that the pond is open for ice skating, but cautions that skaters should call the department at 534-2070 daily to make sure that it is still open as warmer temperatures could change the conditions of the ice quickly.
