5:47 a.m. Police observe two pedestrian crossing signs bent over on Hudson Street near the elementary school.
8:39 p.m. Police respond to a harassment report from a woman concerned about her ex-husband.
9:45 p.m. Police assist town of Cornwall police in looking for a suspect hit-and-run vehicle.
Friday, August 3
12:10 a.m. Police respond to a report of a group of youths on River Avenue who are leaving as police arrive.
10:29 a.m. Police investigate a report of a counterfeit $5 bill passed at Cumberland Farms, interview the subject who used the bill but no charges are filed by the store.
4:35 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 218 to a 29-year-old female from Newburgh.
4:40 p.m. Police are informed of a swatiska spray painted on a crosswalk on Route 218.
4:51 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation of River Avenue to a 23-year-old female from New Windsor.
6:46 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Academy Avenue to a 47-year-old male from Newburgh.
8:25 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Shore Road to a 41-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
10:13 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation at the fire house to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
10:19 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Shore Road to a 51-year-old male from Newburgh.
11:11 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to a 44-year-old female from Cornwall.
Saturday, August 4
11:37 a.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked at the riverfront without a permit.
11:45 a.m. Police encounter on a male subject on Hudson Street who says he is angry at society and does not like the police. Subject says he is out for a walk and will return back to his home at the Maplehurst Inn.
5:32-5:45 p.m. Police issue summonses to three vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.
6:50 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to a 32-year-old male from Newburgh.
9:55 p.m. Police respond to a noise complaint and tell a group of juveniles on Hudson Street to move along.
10:04 p.m. Police respond to a noise complaint and tell a group of juveniles on Hudson Street to move along.
10:44 p.m. Police file a harassment charge against a 26-year-old female who is accused of making an obscene gesture and screaming outside the home of a neighbor. Earlier in the day, the neighbor had also been accused by the female of harassment.
