12:05 am Police respond to a report of a large chunk of ice on Route 218 near the top of the mountain and assist with closing the road.
12:06 pm Police respond to the parking lot of Cornwall Plaza for a motor vehicle accident with property damage.
12:37 pm Police investigate a report of the larceny of an inflatable polar bear with a Santa on top that was removed from the front lawn of a residence on Clinton Street during the night.
1:11 pm Police are on the lookout for a black Escalade with a female driver who allegedly hit a sign at the Chadeayne traffic circle, badly damaging it, then drove off.
4:50 pm Police issue a traffic ticket for a moving violation on Shore Road.

7:48 am Police issue a traffic ticket for driving 63 mph in a 45 mph zone on Orrs Mill Road.
Thursday, December 31
7:23 am Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32 and dispatch the injured animal.
8:42 am Police respond to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Route 9W southbound in which a driver lost control on a curve, fishtailed and struck the barrier.
9:17 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a small car slid into a snow plow on Route 218. No injuries.
9:53 am Police assist several vehicles that were having difficulty getting up the hill on Route 94 west of Riley Road.
11:14 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on I-87.
