Monday, December 21
1:42 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle went down an embankment into deep snow on Route 9W. No injuries.
10:30 am Police respond to a report of trespassing by an unknown subkect at a property on Vinebrook Avenue and observe footprints in the snow in the back yard, passing by the garage and a front window before continuing through the front yard to a neighbor’s house.
12:18 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a 32-year-old Lawrence Worner, of Cornwall, for driving 35 mph in a 20 mph speed zone, then charge him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle after his license was found to be suspended.
5:29 pm Police respond to a report of a deer that was being dragged from the caller’s residence and the caller stated that he believed that the deer had been shot within 500 feet of his house in violation of state law. Police contact the department of environmental conservation who take over the investigation.
6:13 pm Police charge Wesley Patterson with criminal contempt and 2nd degree harassment with physical contact.
10:05 pm Police charge an 18-year-old female from New Windsor with unlawful possession of marijuana after police noticed the smell of marijuana coming from a vehicle parked at the Route 218 bus turnaround.

11:45 am Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 21-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
11:59 am Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to an 84-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
12:19 pm Police charge 24-year-old Peter Fescoe, of Newburgh, with unlawful possession of marijuana after stopping his vehicle on Academy Avenue for failure to wear a seat belt.
1:08 pm Police assist town police with an emotionally disturbed person.
1:08 pm Police respond to a report of a dog that bit a person walking on Maple Road.
1:52 pm Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 33-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
2:42 pm Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 54-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
2:48 pm Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 30-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Monday, December 28
12:48 am Police issue a traffic ticket for inadequate lighting on a vehicle to a 21-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
