Thursday, July 19
10:31 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 56-year-old male from Cornwall.
11:59 a.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked in a no-parking zone that was obstructing traffic on Hudson Street.
12:58 p.m. Police respond to an accident on Hudson Street in which a motorcycle braked to avoid a car backing up and the bike and rider fell.
Friday, July 20
5:53 a.m. Police respond to a report of tree limbs blocking the roadway on Boulevard.
7:45 p.m. Police make a foot patrol in the area behind the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum on Boulevard and find two fire rings that were not there two weeks earlier. A museum employee also reported recently removing a large amount of beer bottles from the area.
10:13 p.m. Police respond to a noise complaint regarding sports teams’ vehicles driving through the village honking horns. Vehicles were gone on arrival.
Saturday, July 21
11:14 a.m.-4:43 p.m. Police issue fourteen summonses to vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.
4:32 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 44-year-old male from New Windsor.
5:25 p.m. Police issue a summons for failure to obey a stop sign on River Avenue to a 22-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
7:55 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 60-year-old male from Wallkill.
8:04 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 58-year-old male from New Windsor.
8:10 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 30-year-old male from Brooklyn.
8:37 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 37-year-old male from New Windsor.
8:39 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to an 18-year-old male from Garnerville.
