Thursday, July 12
12:48 p.m. Police take a report of an Alpine stereo taken from a parked car on Churchill Street.

3:54- 4:05 p.m. Police issue four parking summonses to vehicles parked without a permit at the riverfront.

7:35 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Maple Avenue Ext. to a 16-year-old male from New Windsor.

8:38 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to a 34-year-old male from Kingston.

9:10 p.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked without a permit at the riverfront.

10:44 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to an 18-year-old female from Highland Mills.

Friday, July 13
5:40 p.m. Police issue a summons for failure to exhibit license to a 34-year-old male from Wallkill.

6:50 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Shore Road to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall.

7:45 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to a 24-year-old female from Newburgh.

10:00 p.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked without a permit at the riverfront.

10:01 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Shore Road to a 19-year-old male from Cornwall.


Saturday, July 14
10:05 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 28-year-old male from Highland Falls.

11:22 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 218 to a 29-year-old male from New Windsor.

11:33 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Bayview Avenue and dispatch the injured deer.

1:57 p.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked without a permit at the riverfront.

2:02 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to an RV on Main Street in Cornwall driven by a 44-year-old male from Englewood, NJ.

7:38 p.m. Police issue two summonses for vehicle and traffic violations on Shore Road to a 17-year-old male from Highland.

10:08 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving through a stop sign at Wood Avenue and Shore Road to a 52-year-old male from New Windsor.


Sunday, July 15
3:39 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle that had been driven into the ditch on Shore Road by a woman who said she was trying to make a u-turn.

8:25 p.m. Police assist a woman walking on Route 9W and return her to Cornwall hospital.


Monday, July 16
12:49 a.m. Police observe a suspicious vehicle attempting to get gas at Cumberland Farms. The driver is a tourist low on gas and police escort the vehicle to Route 32, advising driver to continue to Vails Gate.

10:24 a.m. Police while on patrol on Idlewild Avenue see a vehicle pull over to the side of the road then as the officer was passing the driver pulled out and almost hit the patrol car. The officer observed the driver talking on a cell phone and issues the 58-year-old male from Marlboro a summons.

11:22 a.m. Police investigate a possible larceny of a laptop that is resolved by the computer’s return.

1:48 p.m. Police respond to a hit-and-run accident on Hudson Street in which a parked vehicle was reportedly struck by a silver Honda.

6:49 p.m. Police advise a group of juveniles in the Homeland area to move along.


Tuesday, July 17
12:04 a.m. Police advise a group of juveniles at the village bandstand to move along.

11:20 a.m. Police issue a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign on Shore Road to a 37-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.

12:20 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving with an expired license to a 36-year-old male from Cornwall.

11:00 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of juveniles being noisy in the municipal parking lot and tell subjects to leave the area.


Wednesday, July 18
11:00 a.m. Police take a report that a member of the Skyliners band lost or misplaced his cell phone at the bandstand during the Tuesday evening concert.

8:06 p.m. Police issued four summonses for vehicle and traffic violations to a 22-year-old male from New Windsor and he drove through a stop sign and failed to stop for a police officer with emergency lights on.
