Friday, July 6
3:50 p.m. Police investigate a report of vandalism at the Cornwall middle school in which black spray paint was used to write on the school’s sign at the Main Street entrance and on the wall and ceiling next to the entrance door. The words painted appeared to be “psycho” and “wutang.” No video of the entrance; canvas was negative.
7:01 p.m. Police respond to a report of a possible burglary in progress on Hasbrouck St. and find three juveniles walking nearby who say that they had attempted to enter the garage of a house owned by the uncle of one of the juveniles in order to borrow a tool to fix their skateboards. Subjects were advised and parents were contacted.
7:45 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident.
10:00 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 31-year-old female from Cornwall.
10:42 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 19-year-old male from Newburgh.
Saturday, July 7
9:07 a.m. Police respond to a report of a possibly ill skunk, observe the animal’s behavior to be not normal and shoot it.
11:34 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 94 to a 20-year-old female from Cornwall.
5:12 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 45-year-old male from Cornwall.
5:25 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 28-year-old male from East Meadow.
Sunday, July 8
11:32 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 54-year-old female from Newburgh.
1:30 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 94.
4:58 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall.
6:24 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall.
6:54 p.m. Police charge Eileen Colon, 20, of Newburgh, with driving without a license, and driving an unregistered and uninspected vehicle.
6:56 p.m. Police charge Mark Savino, 24, of Kingston, with driving with three active suspensions and with driving an uninspected vehicle.
Monday, July 9
9:47 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 57-year-old male from Cornwall.
10:48 a.m. Police charge Gary Lynch, 24, of New Windsor, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with driving while using a mobile phone on Woodcock Mountain Road.
2:03 p.m. Police charge Bruce Mondouo, 28, of Newburgh, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
5:34 p.m. Police issue a summons to 21-year-old male from Mountainville for driving a motorcycle with an expired permit.
9:52 p.m. Police charge Mildred Simpson, 56, of Newburgh, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with driving a vehicle with a missing headlight.
Tuesday, July 10
5:23 p.m. Police investigate a report of simple assault between two patients at Cornwall hospital.
7;28 p.m. Police take a report of a blue-and-white Trek mountain bike that was stolen from the Lee Road school access road.
9:47 p.m. Police respond to a report of a disorderly patient at Cornwall hospital.
10:41 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 94 to an 18-year-old male from New Windsor.

1:45 p.m. Police arrest a 17-year-old male from Salisbury Mills for theft of services for not paying a cab fare on June 18, 2007.
