Sunday, July 8
5:44 a.m.  Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 9W and Mountain Road.

10:55 a.m.  Police issue a summons  to a 22-year-old female from Lynchburg for driving 67 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.

12:27—2:09 p.m.  Police issue seven summonses to vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.

2:15 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 52-year-old male from Newburgh.

2:20 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 38-year-old male from Newburgh.

2:54-4:20 p.m. Police issue five summonses to vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.

9:20 p.m.  Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked at the riverfront after closing hours.

10:52 p.m. Police confiscate fireworks from a two subjects at the riverfront and advise subjects to leave.

Monday, July 9
5:49 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a tree down with wires and a telephone on Dock Hill Road.  The highway department shut the road until Central Hudson could arrive to fix it.

10:43 a.m.  Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked at the riverfront without a permit.

1:51 p.m.  Police investigate a report of a newly-posted road sign on Shore Road that was stolen.

6:30 p.m.  Police issue two summonses to vehicles parked at the riverfront without permits.

Tuesday, July 10
6:08 a.m.  Police respond to a report of an injured fawn inside the tennis courts at Storm King School, opened a gate for the animal to crawl out then dispatch the deer with two shots.

8:30 a.m.  Police respond to a reported assault at a residence and break up a fight that resulted from two men arguing about a woman.

6:00 p.m.  Police assist town police with an emotionally disturbed person at Cornwall hospital.

6:23 p.m.  Police take a report of a dark purple Raleigh mountain bicycle taken from a lawn on Cherry Avenue.

7:41 p.m.  Police respond to a report of shots fired on River Avenue and on arrival police hear what appear to be gun shots coming from the Plum Point area and alert New Windsor police.

9:47 p.m.  Police assist town police with a disorderly subject at Cornwall hospital.
