Monday, November 23
6:36 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Route 32.

7:54 p.m. Police respond to a husband-wife domestic dispute.


Tuesday, November 24
8:12 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 47 mph in a 30 mph zone on Jackson Avenue.

12:40 p.m. Police assist a mentally disturbed subject.

7:47 p.m. Police respond to a noise complaint about a band playing loudly and keeping a young boy awake. Subjects advised.

9:23 p.m. Police respond to a mutual aid call in New Windsor and assist police with traffic control during a residential fire.


Wednesday, November 25
8:57 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Clove Road.

4:22 p.m. Police respond to a noise complaint on Quaker Avenue.

7:53 p.m. Police arrest Aaron Beattie, 23, of Middletown, and an unidentified 18-year-old male following a vehicle traffic stop on Route 32. Both suspects are charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.


Thursday, November 26
4:09 a.m. Police respond to a report of two female and five male disorderly adults on Main Street screaming and yelling and advise the subjects to move along.

9:58 a.m. Police investigate a report of criminal mischief at a residence on Tenny Lane.

3:52 p.m. Police investigate a report of criminal mischief to a residence on Poplar Street.

4:35 p.m. Police charge 24-year-old Evan Sterling of Cornwall with two equipment violations and with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Pleasant Hill Road. Police also charge 54-year-old Robert Sterling of Cornwall with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 3rd degree.

5:01 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with a fatality on Route 9W. (See full story)
6:04 p.m. Police respond to a report of a yellow garbage can on fire near the basketball courts behind the Willow Avenue Elementary School.

9:23 p.m. Police make an arrest after responding to a call to assist a mentally disturbed subject.

9:31 p.m. Police respond to a boyfriend-girlfriend domestic dispute.

10:24 p.m. Police take a report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.


Friday, November 27
9:45 a.m. Police to a report of a stonewall hit in a hit-and-run accident on Beakes Road.

1:26 p.m. Police assist a homeowner with an unwanted party.

7:57 p.m. Police respond to a rollover accident with injuries on Pleasant Hill Road.


Saturday, November 28
12:39 a.m. Police assist Cornwall-on-Hudson police with a domestic incident.

2:41 a.m. Police respond to a report of an emotionally disturbed person who attempted suicide.

5:45 a.m. Police take a larceny report.

9:10 a.m. Police respond to a husband wife domestic dispute.

10:00 a.m. Police take a report of damage to a vehicle parked at Cumberland Farms on Route 94 caused by the door of a dumpster blowing open and striking the parked vehicle.

5:50 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.

7:05 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for driving with a motorcycle with no rear lights and driving with a permit only.


Sunday, November 29
5:04 a.m. Police respond to a residence on Orrs Mills Road for a report of eggs thrown at it, then respond to the area of Brook Hollow for a similar report, where two empty egg cartons are found in the roadway.

10:14 a.m. Police take a report from a resident of Brook Hollow Drive who found his house and vehicle hit by eggs overnight.

11:57 a.m. Police respond to a father-son domestic dispute.

2:50 p.m. Police recover a grey Globe mountain bike that was found in a wooded area of Quaker Avenue.

4:30 p.m. Police take a report of a mother-daughter domestic dispute.

6:47 p.m. Police charge Martin Gross, 35, of Highland Mills, with driving while under the influence of drugs.
