Monday, June 18
3:58 a.m. Police respond to Cumberland Farms on Route 94 for a report of youths that did not pay their cab fare. The driver said he picked up three males and one female in Cornwall-on-Hudson and drove them to the Salisbury Mills train station where they jumped from the car and ran. Police search for the youths on foot with no result.
6:54 a.m. Police issue a summons to Paul Redner, 28, of Cornwall, for driving 75 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.
8:00 a.m. Police investigate a report of damage to the Orange County Office for the Aging mini-bus that was parked at Munger Cottage. The tail lights were broken out.
9:11 a.m. Police issue a summons to Christopher Harley, 18, of New Windsor, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
9:51 a.m. Police take a report of a Hasbrouck Avenue resident who said someone marked the hood of her car with the anarchist symbol.
1:11 p.m. Police receive a silver/blue Rhino bicycle that had been found on Mailler Avenue.
2:12 p.m. Police issue a summons to Timothy Crill, 18, of Cornwall, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
3:12 p.m. Police respond to a report of a suspicious person and find a woman who said she had a permit to solicit door-to-door. She is advised that no permit exists and that she should cease her activity.
5:54 p.m. Police respond to Route 218 and Mailler Avenue for a motor vehicle accident.
7:33 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of trespassing at Willow Avenue school and advise subject that he will face charges if found on the property again.
7:34 p.m. Police identify a man who is driving other subjects around who ask residents to buy magazine subscriptions to benefit Katrina victims. All are advised to refrain from future solicitation.
10:18 p.m. Police find a red BMX bike at the Bonnie Blair monument and place it in storage.
Tuesday, June 19
10:33 a.m. Police issue a summons to Samuel Unger, 34, of Spring Valley, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
11:24 a.m. Police issue a summons to Everton Moore, 37, of New Rochelle, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
12:47 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at the traffic circle.
3:50 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
3:56 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute between a man and his step father.
8:18 p.m. Police issue a summons to Jerry Jackson, 35, of Cornwall, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
8:50 p.m. Police receive a tennis racket that was found at the tennis court.
9:16 p.m. Police issue a summons to Maxwell Goodman, 19, of Central Valley, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
9:58 p.m. Police respond to a report of a subject laying in the middle of the roadway at Grand Avenue and Bridge Street and find a man who said he was resting before continuing his trek to Willow Avenue.
Wednesday, June 20
2:07 a.m. Police observe a driver hit a sign post at Route 9W and Quaker Avenue and after interviewing the subject who said he was sleepy escort driver to the Cadet Motel.
2:45 p.m. Police issue a summons to Evan Garthwait, 38, of Waterbury, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
3:43 p.m. Police remove a woman from Cornwall Plaza after she asked people for money outside the grocery store.
6:00 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Angola Road and arrest Arthur Malagoli, 34, of Cornwall, for aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and leaving the scene of property damage.
6:44 p.m. Police respond to a three-car motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
Thursday, June 21
12:49 a.m. Police assist Woodbury police department with a prisoner at the Cornwall hospital emergency room.
2:25 a.m. Police assist village police with noisy juveniles.
2:55 a.m. Police assist village police with noisy juveniles.
7:56 a.m. Police make a welfare check on subject sleeping in a motor vehicle on Route 32 pull-off area and find woman who just got off work and was napping before driving home.
9:28 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a car backed into a parked car at Dunkin Donuts.
11:30 a.m. Police advise youths not to skateboard at the Methodist Church.
1:40 p.m. Police advise youths skateboarding at the Town Hall area to disperse.
2:00 p.m. Police investigate the larceny of a bicycle from a locked shed on Main Street.
3:48 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident and as the officer prepared to dispatch the deer, it got up and ran away into a wooded area and out of sight.
3:56 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall Middle School for a criminal mischief complaint in which spot lights were damaged with black spray paint, kicked down and broken. Grafitti was also found sprayed on a roof wall.
4:28 p.m. Police respond to a custodial dispute.
4:43 p.m. Police tell a large group of kids skateboarding at Town Hall to leave.
8:42 p.m. Police issue a summons to Maria Procel, 42, of Newburgh, for driving 76 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W.
8:55 p.m. Police respond to landlord-tenant dispute.
Friday, June 22
1:36 a.m. Police car is involved in a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W and sustains minor damage.
8:19 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Mineral Springs Road.
11:41 a.m. Police issue a summons to Marta Luongo, 47, of Washingtonville, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
12:12 p.m. Police respond to a harassment complaint involving test messages.
4:16 p.m. Police issue two summonses to Thomas Castellano, 46, of Pomona, for vehicle and traffic violations.
5:41 p.m. Police stop a driver for speeding and issue Paul Biagiotti, 34, of Highland Mills, two summonses.
6:31 p.m. Police respond to a landlord-tenant dispute.
9:10 p.m. Police issue three summonses for speeding to three motorcyclists on Route 9W, C. Ali-Sultan, 23, of Peekskill, Marshield Charlery, 22, of Peekskill, and Benjamin Lewis, 21, of Peekskill.
11:03 p.m. Police issue a summons to C.W. Brimlow, 18, of Washingtonville, for speeding on Orrs Mill Road.
Saturday, June 23
12:32 a.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital to assist a non-cooperative patient in the emergency room.
11:51 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
1:40 p.m. Police respond to a harassment complaint regarding unwanted phone calls.
6:08 p.m. Police investigate a reported burglary of a Dell computer from a business on Tarkett Drive.
10:43 p.m. Police respond to a report of fireworks and observe two youths light off fireworks. Police seize fireworks and advise youths’ parents.
Sunday, June 24
12:45 a.m. Police advise a group of teenagers at Cornwall Plaza to go home for the night. They are observed entering Willow Avenue elementary school property and after taking the names of the teens they are escorted home.
5:40 a.m. Police investigate a report from the Methodist Church pastor that he heard a bang and saw a teenage male run from the area next to the church shortly after midnight. The youth got into a vehicle driven by another male and took off. In the morning, a vehicle parked at the church was found to have a broken rear tail light.
11:50 a.m. Police respond to a fatal motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.
7:30 p.m. Police assist a subject removal of her property from a residence.
9:42 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
