Police Blotter: June 14-17, 2007

Thursday, June 14
6:36 a.m.  Police issue a summons to Jerson Castillo, 22, of Newburgh, for a vehicle and traffic violation.

12:13 p.m.  Police investigate a larceny from a vehicle parked at Dunkin Donuts in which a window was broken and a Razor phone was missing.

2:18 p.m. Police respond to a mental health patient at Cornwall  hospital along with a village police officer who is chasing the subject on arrival.  Subject is brought down with a leg sweep, handcuffed, and returned to the emergency room.

3:17 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

4:35 p.m.  Police investigate a report of harassing phone calls from a subject who has an order of protection against him.

5:57 p.m.  Police arrest Patrick Brickley, 22, of Slate Hill, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, speeding, and driving without a license after the subject is stopped by police and found to have 17 license suspensions.

7:32 p.m.  Police investigate a report of a bicycle stolen overnight that was chained to parking post at Cornwall hospital.

Friday, June 15
7:55 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

8:00 p.m.  Police issue a summons to N.L. Ggglielminetti, 43, of Highland Mills, for a vehicle and traffic violation.

10:25 p.m.  Police assist village police with disorderly youths on Shore Road.

10:42 p.m.  Police charge Manuel Perez, of Rowayton, CT., with making a false report that his Mercedes had been stolen.  Subject was found walking on Route 9W and said his car had been stolen.  Later, police found the man’s car rolled down an embankment and subject admits he was too embarrassed to report the accident.

Saturday, June 16
12:50 a.m.  Police respond to a medical call and turn subject over to COVAC.

1:56 a.m. Police investigate a report of aggravated harassment.

3:43 a.m.  Police respond to a disturbance in an apartment between roommates.

5:28 a.m.  Police respond to scene of previous disturbance and transport a subject to Cornwall hospital.

6:42 a.m.  Police investigate a report of an assault on June 15 outside the Shamrock Tavern.

12:38 p.m. Police respond to a repot of a disturbance in which insults were exchanged between two individuals at the Little League fields.

4:48 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with a leg injury on Route 94.

5:30 p.m.  Police issue a summons to Sean Moloney, 38, of Poughkeepsie, for a vehicle and traffic violation.

6:51 p.m.  Police pick up two loose dogs and transport them to the kennel.

7:50 p.m.  Police issue a summons to Jeremy Jordan, 27, of Kingston for talking on a cell phone while driving.

9:37 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

9:39 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs car motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

Sunday, June 17
12:59 a.m.  Police investigate damage to the American Legion building caused by a metal soccer goal that had struck the side of the building.

1:05 a.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

3:38 p.m.  Police call for county and state police assist for a boater leaking oil and in apparent distress in the Hudson River.

4:00 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter.

5:00 p.m.  Police investigate a custody dispute.

5:30 p.m.  Police respond to a noise complaint and tell people at a father’s day parade to turn down the stereo.

8:25 p.m. Police respond to a report of a loose pitbull and transport the dog to the dog shelter.

9:51 p.m.  Police respond to a fire that occurred in a car that was being repaired.
