Monday, November 2
4:16 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver on Hudson Street for an expired inspection sticker.

4:44 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at the stop sign at River Avenue and Shore Road.

9:40 p.m. Police respond to a mother-son domestic dispute.


Tuesday, November 3
5:03 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a 50-year-old female from Newburgh for driving 28 mph in a 35 mph zone on River Avenue.

7:15 p.m. Police take a report of a husband-wife domestic dispute that occurred the previous evening.


Wednesday, November 4
5:05 a.m. Police respond to a medical call for a patient with heart symptoms, administer oxygen and turn patient over to COVAC for transport to the hospital.

7:41 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W south that occurred when a vehicle making a left-hand turn onto Mountain Road was struck by a vehicle behind it.

7:37 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Curie Avenue to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall.


Thursday, November 5
7:54 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Idlewild Avenue to a 21-year-old female from Rock Tavern.


Friday, November 6
12:00 p.m. Police investigate a report of $720 in cash taken from a rent box at an apartment building on Hudson Street.

4:12 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at Hudson Street and Route 218 that occurred when a vehicle pulling out of Academy Avenue struck a passing vehicle.


Saturday, November 7
No arrests or summonses issued.


Sunday, November 8
2:10 p.m. Police come across a motor vehicle accident on Route 218 near the high point where a motorcyclist had incurred a laceration to his head.

5:36 p.m. Police respond to a report of a woman who did not pay for her gasoline at the DB Mart. The owner said he charged her for groceries without realizing that she had pumped gas. The woman is contacted and says she will pay for the gas.



Comments:

Police issue a ticket to a 50-year-old female from Newburgh for driving 28 mph in a 35 mph zone on River Avenue? She got a ticket for going 7 mph UNDER the speed limit?
