Monday, November 2
7:27 a.m. Police respond to a girlfriend-boyfriend domestic dispute.

12:55 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to keep right on Jackson Avenue.

1:19 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Route 32 to a driver going 50 mph in a 30 mph speed zone.

2:06 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a Coach bus was on its side on Route 32. No injuries but police assist 12 passengers who must exit through windows.

5:45 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.

9:13 p.m. Police investigate a report of graffiti sprayed with shaving cream on the visitor’s dugout at the Little League field.


Tuesday, November 3
1:10 a.m. Police respond to a report of a dead deer across two lanes of Route 9W north.

7:39 a.m. Police find eggs and shaving cream on the Little League building.

11:02 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a car without a permit parked in a handicap spot at the public library.

12:16 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a car driving 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.

6:29 p.m. Police remove a dead deer from the roadway on Route 218.


Wednesday, November 4
12:48 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.

12:54 a.m. Police issue a two tickets to a person driving without a license on Route 9W.

6:30 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Mill Street.

3:49 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Route 94.


Thursday, November 5
8:50 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W for failing to stop for a school bus.

8:52 a.m. Police issue tickets to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign at Willow Avenue and Route 9W, for speeding and for driving without a license. Police impound the car.

5:08 p.m. Police respond to a mother-son domestic incident.


Friday, November 6, 2009
3:55 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket and impound a vehicle on Route 32.

4:28 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver for an unregistered vehicle and an inadequate muffler.

7:28 p.m. Police turn over to MTA police a report from a caller at the train station who says all four tires had been taken off his vehicle, which was left on top of two large blocks.


Saturday, November 7
12:25 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket for driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.

12:41 a.m. Police respond to a one-car motor vehicle accident with minor injuries on Route 94.

2:07 a.m. Police charge 26-year-old Emily Kellman, of Highland Mills, with unlawful possession of marijuana after police stop a vehicle that she was riding in which was being sought by New Windsor police.

11:11 a.m. Police ticket a driving for going 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.

2:55 p.m. Police investigate a pile of garbage and furniture dumped on Route 9W.

9:51 p.m. Police provide a courtesy transport to driver who had run out of gas on Route 9W.

10:28 p.m. Police respond to a hit-and-run accident with property damage in the parking lot of Cumberland Farms on Route 94.


Sunday, November 8
9:01 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver going 64 mph in a 40 mph zone on Jackson Avenue.

12:38 p.m. Police investigate a report of harassment.

12:57 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

2:10 p.m. Police respond to a motorcycle accident on Route 218 in which the driver struck a stonewall then traveled across the southbound lane, striking the stone cliff area. Driver is taken to St. Lukes Cornwall hospital in Newburgh.
