Monday, October 19
9:08 a.m. Police respond to a husband-wife domestic dispute.

3:24 p.m. Police charge 31-year-old David Madden, of Holland Patent, N.Y., with driving with a suspended license after he was stopped for an equipment violation on Route 32.

4:40 p.m. Police charge 46-year-old Susana Torres, of New Windsor, with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident on Willow Avenue, with driving with a suspended registration and without a license and with failing to stop at a stop sign.

9:39 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.

10:02 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.


Tuesday, October 20
7:04 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 64 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.

9:59 a.m. Police investigate a report of graffiti at the Cornwall public library.

2:00 p.m. Police investigate a report of harassing phone calls.

5:06 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver without a license and impound the vehicle.

6:43 p.m. Police to a report of a grill on fire on the rear deck of a residence and find the fire department had extinguished it on arrival.

8:38 p.m. Police issue two traffic tickets to a driver on Route 32.


Wednesday, October 21
6:18 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road.

8:41 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 70 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 9W.

5:34 p.m. Police take a report of a load bucket for a Bobcat that was missing from a construction site at the Salisbury Mills train station.

10:00 p.m. Police issue three traffic tickets on Route 9W.


Thursday, October 22
8:07 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 66 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W.

5:20 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which the driver lost his brakes and struck a stop sign on Route 94.

5:53 p.m. Police respond to a report of a hit-and-run in which a parked vehicle at Cornwall Plaza was damaged.

8:09 p.m. Police resolve a dispute between two juveniles at town hall.


Friday, October 23
7:18 a.m. Police respond to a mother-daughter domestic dispute.

3:44 p.m. Police charge 24-year-old Pavel Fedyakov, of Goshen, with unsafe passing, tailgating, reckless driving and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle on Route 32.

7:30 p.m. Police charge 25-year-old George Burks, of New Windsor, with possession of stolen property and with endangering the welfare of a child after he is allegedly found with goods taken from Hannaford’s store while his young children were left alone at home.


Saturday, October 24
11:53 a.m. Police respond to a report of an injured opossum in a yard on Willow Avenue and dispatch the animal.

12:28 p.m. Police respond to a rollover accident on Route 9W in which COVAC transports injured to hospital.

8:20 p.m. Police respond to a domestic incident.

11:29 p.m. Police assist the village police with a motor vehicle accident at the riverfront.’


Sunday, October 25
7:15 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 94.

10:46 a.m. Police issue two tickets to vehicles with expired inspection stickers on Route 218.

2:50 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a car went off the road and into a ditch on Angola Road.

5:30 p.m. Police arrest 33-year-old Wilmur Bueso, of Newburgh, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and for littering after he was stopped on Route 9W because Styrofoam boards on top of his vehicle were falling off.
