Monday, October 12
12:15 a.m. Police respond to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Meadow Avenue and advise occupants, who were eating food purchased at McDonalds, to disperse.

2:47 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 19-year-old female from New Windsor.

3:03 p.m. Police issue a parking ticket to a vehicle without a permit at the riverfront.

6:51 p.m. Police investigate a report of graffiti on the exit sign at village hall and find similar markings on the Walden Bank sign.

7:26 p.m. Police assist town police responding to a father son domestic dispute.


Tuesday, October 13
6:00 a.m. Police investigate a report of a knapsack and baseball glove taken the previous evening from a vehicle parked at a residence on Duncan Avenue.

11:29 a.m. Police investigate a report of criminal mischief on Curie Road.

6:35 p.m. Police investigate a report of a purse taken the previous night from a vehicle parked at a residence on Idlewild Park Drive.

7:24 p.m. Police respond to a disturbance at Cumberland Farms involving youths skateboarding.

Wednesday, October 14
1:40 a.m. Police charge 19-year-old Nathan Gerard, of New Windsor, and 19-year-old Daniel Grodence, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with unlawful possession of marijuana.

5:24 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 218 to a 63-year-old male from Newburgh.

2:55 p.m. Police investigate a report of a stroller that was missing from a residence a day after the homeowner tried to give it away.

4:41 p.m. Police assist town police with a father-son dispute in the town park.


Thursday, October 15
11:09 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Shore Road to a 19-year-old male from Stormville.

2:32 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 50-year-old male from Cornwall.

9:29 p.m. Police respond to a report of a deceased deer in the roadway on Bayview Avenue and remove it.


Friday, October 16
12:41 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a 72-year-old male from Catskill.

8:15 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Homeland Avenue to a 56-year-old female from Newburgh.

9:39 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 29-year-old male from New Windsor.

11:41 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket for driving 48 mph in a 30 mph zone on Route 218 to a 42-year-old female from Beacon.

11:48 a.m. Police investigate a report of graffiti written on the steps of Splitz Ends salon on Hudson Street.

1:00 p.m. Police investigate a report of a GPS taken from a vehicle that had been parked on Paula Court since September 29.

4:50 p.m. Police respond to a report of gasoline spilled Cumberland Farms.


Saturday, October 17
2:32 a.m. Police arrest 38-year-old Brendan Gilmartin, of Cornwall, for DWI after he was involved in an accident on Shore Road

11:15 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Vinebrook that occurred when a driver struck a parked vehicle.

4:00 p.m. Police assist town police with traffic control at the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

6:00 p.m. Police assist town police with traffic control at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 32
