6:52 p.m. Police issue a summons to Lillian White, 75, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, for a vehicle and traffic violation after her car struck a canine in a crosswalk on Hudson Street. The dog was not injured.
7:26 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a woman said her vehicle started to slide on Route 9W due to heavy rain and it hit the center median.
Monday, April 16
11:42 a.m. Police issue a summons to Amber Reeves, 26, of Cornwall-on-Hudson for a vehicle and traffic violation.
12:18 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on First Street involving two vehicles and no injuries.
12:25 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Deer Hill extension in which a driver slid on water and hit the center median.
6:10 p.m. Police respond to a disturb between two neighbors about placement of trash for the bulk pickup.
Tuesday, April 17
8:44 a.m. Police issue a summons to David McDade, 25, of Paulden, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
Wednesday, April 18
10:39 a.m. Police assist town police to locate a child who had run away from the Cornwall Middle school. Child is found on Angola Road and returned to school.
1:04 p.m. Police stop a vehicle on Maple Road for a traffic violation and smell an odor of marijuana. The driver state he has smoked in the vehicle but did not have any at this time. Vehicle searched. Nothing found.
