Monday, August 24

12:29 p.m.  Police respond to a girlfriend/boyfriend domestic dispute.

 

1:00 p.m.  Police take a report from a woman who says she is receiving harassing text messages from her ex-boyfriend.

 

7:48 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

 

 

Tuesday, August 25

5:00 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a sanitation truck backed into a parked vehicle.

 

6:43 p.m.  Police arrest Jonathan Gonzales, age 20, and charge him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle without a license, and an equipment failure.

 

7:30 p.m.  Police charge an unidentified 53-year-old male from Kingston with violating the open container law after he was found passed out in the grass.

 

9:03 p.m.  Police take a report of a bicycle stolen from the front lawn of a residence on Chestnut Avenue.

 

 

Wednesday, August 26

1:05 p.m.  Police respond to a residence where a teenage resident said that she was in the shower and heard someone walking in the dining room, where her dog was barking.  She called for her mother, got out of the shower and looked out the window to see a Spanish, possible Jamaican, male with long curls get into a gold metallic sedan with black tape on the window.   The vehicle is later found by police who interview a subject who says she was applying for a nanny position and was at the wrong residence.

 

 

Thursday, August 27

12:42 a.m.  Police arrest Mateo Colon, 21, of Cornwall, and charge him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Main Street as well as issue him two traffic tickets.

 

7:50 a.m.  Police issue a speeding ticket to a driver goig 68 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W.

 

9:59 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a window broken in a passenger car overnight as it was parked in a driveway on Jessica Court.  The wallets and phones inside were not taken.

 

9:10 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

 

 

Friday, August 28

4:28 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a woman who says she is being harassed by a male caller.

 

1:05 p.m. Police respond to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Main Street in which a mirror was knocked off a parked car.
